Discuss bookkeepingTrust Services
Trust books that a trustee can explain.
Trust bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online, distribution tracking, Form 1041 preparation, and guidance to help trustees understand their ongoing recordkeeping responsibilities.
Trust Bookkeeping and Trust Tax Preparation (Form 1041) are separate services. A trustee can engage GHL for either service or both. GHL can also help trustees understand which supporting documents and records the trust must maintain throughout the year to support compliance and be prepared for an audit. Trustees remain responsible for keeping the trust’s legal and administrative records, including certificates of trust, organizational charts, agreements, minutes, and contracts. The scope and fees are outlined in the Engagement Letter before work begins. GHL does not create trusts, draft trust documents, interpret their terms, or give legal advice. GHL can introduce the trustee to an attorney or advisor who does.

GHL invites you to the Secure Client Portal. Messages, requests and documents go there from then on.
Sign the Engagement Letter
The Engagement Letter, with the agreed scope and fees, is in your portal. You review and sign it there before work begins.
Send your records
Upload records to the portal, never through email or the contact form.
